Cadet Program
The South Madison County Soccer Organization and the Chicago Fire Juniors of Mississippi will be offering for the 3rd year the Fire Cadet (academy) Program.
The Fire Cadet program will offer an avenue to those players that are selected through scouting of the U10 recreational games the opportunity to train at a higher level that the typical recreational enviornment provides.
Through the Cadet program format SMCSO will develop better, more technical players moving into the older age groups. Our goal is to provide the best learning enviornment and instruction for our Cadet players to establish a stable foundation while fostering a love for the game.
The Fire Cadet Training Model will be a Technical based curriculum based on age specific training and tailored player development.
The Cadet training will be conducted by the professional staff of the Chicago Fire Juniors of Mississippi.
The Cadet program will strictly be a training tool that will be supplemental to the players recreational and division 2 teams. No teams will be selected from the Cadet program
Players are invited to participate in the program by the Fire Staff through scouting.
Players will be scouted again in the Spring to be added to the program.
Cost of the program is $160.00
Program will run through May
Main Training Nights will be on Tuesdays 5:30pm- 6:45pm with optional sessions when available as per staff coaches
Training sessions will be held at Liberty Park
